My Husband and I had plans to leave for VT today to celebrate our daughters Senior Awards Banquet. Those plans came to a screeching halt on Monday, April 16th, when a senseless tragedy occurred. Our daughter is fine, but the memories of this day will never be forgotten.
I would like to thank the millions of people who have sent their thoughts and prayers to VT. I just can't imagine how the families of the students killed will ever recover. Our daughter Tracy, loves VT and considers Blacksburg, VA her home and always will.
So if you have anything orange or maroon, please wear it in memory of those who lost their lives.

I visited Ball State on Friday with my youngest daughter for her to check the campus out before she sent in her acceptance letter -- and I wore Orange!
